Overview

Parker and Sons is currently seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best experience every day. Our Inventory Coordinator will coordinate deliveries needed to job via delivery drivers and 3rd party vendors. Source need parts Via Warehouse, vendors & etc. Duties also include miscellaneous stores/stockroom activities including but not limited to housekeeping, processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 Source widgets/materials needed.

  • Dispatch drivers or vendors.
  • Communicate via texting, email and phone.
  • Maintains inventory controls by creating and receiving purchase orders, assigning inventory to jobs and technicians.
  • Run parts in emergencies to help support Installers on the job.
  • Help with morning technician check out of widgets / materials.
  • Track tools in spreadsheets.
  • Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed
  • Assists in the accurate and timely issuance and receiving of company inventory

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years applicable experience in warehousing, dispatching or logistics

 

Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

 

  • HVAC / Plumbing parts and trade experience preferred
  • Familiar with standard inventory management concepts, best practices, and techniques
  • Proven proficiency and accuracy with data entry tasks
  • Highly organized with the ability to develop systems and process void of waste
  • General knowledge of applications such as MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Service Titan or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic / positive team player with a continual improvement mindset
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and oral
  • Ability to critically think and manage through a highly complex and fast pace environment
