Overview

Parker & Sons is currently seeking an HVAC Install Dispatcher/Scheduler to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees! Our HVAC Dispatcher/Scheduler plays an integral role in our department, as they ensure the organization and completion of all installation projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in dispatching and job assigning. They will also have general knowledge of HVAC products, a basic understanding of installation processes, and high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task

This position in the HVAC department is essential to the immediate and future success of Parker & Sons. The Dispatcher allows our customers to rest assure, Parker & Sons will be there to accommodate all their home care needs. Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

 

Schedule (Dispatch):

  • Assign install teams to jobs each day (team layout).
    • Maximize efficiency for drive time & distance.
    • Maximize efficiency for overtime. (especially in the winter months).
    • Determine the correct installer for the job based on knowledge of skills to ensure a successful and efficient installation.
    • Rotate job type assignments based on difficulty of previous day’s work to maintain a balanced distribution to the individual installers.
    • Adjust daily schedules to accommodate PTO, meetings, training, and call outs.
  • Communicate with leadership to identify possible strategy enhancements or crew deficiencies.
  • Complete, maintain, and distribute Saturday Rotation schedule.

Follow ups:

  • Receive emails regarding follow ups.
  • Send follow ups to appropriate personal.

Data entry:

  • Manage various report.
    • Damage
    • Deliveries
    • Etc.
  • Manage truck assignments and changes to keep Service Titan up to date.

Additional Tasks:

  • Work with Payroll to validate accurate hours (dispatch, arrive, complete).
  • Monitor progress of jobs to notify customers and install teams of potential late arrivals or reschedules.

 

Qualifications

Do I Have What It Takes?

 

  • Must have at least 2 years of dispatch experience
  • Must have Excel or similar platform experience
  • Typing minimum 30 WPM
  • Remain seated for long periods of time in an office setting.
  • Ability to lift 10lb on occasion.
  • Ability to verbally communicate in person, writing, or over the phone.
  • Ability to hear communication from customers, vendors and employees.
  • Ability to transition between working stations.
