Overview

Parker and Sons is currently seeking Warehouse Inventory Auditor to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best experience every day. Our Warehouse Inventory Auditor is responsible for monitoring in-stock inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly balanced between system and location counts. Duties also include miscellaneous stores/stockroom activities including but not limited to housekeeping, processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues.

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

  • Daily cycle count and reporting of materials and equipment across various stocking points to determine and report quantity on hand matches system reporting
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervisor/manager
  • Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed
  • Assists in the accurate and timely issuance and receiving of company inventory
  • General Warehouse, Material Management, Warranty and Procurement support

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years applicable experience in wholesale, warehousing, or logistics
  • 1 year operating a forklift

 

Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

 

  • HVAC / Plumbing parts and trade experience preferred
  • Familiar with standard inventory management concepts, best practices, and techniques
  • Proven proficiency and accuracy with data entry tasks
  • Highly organized with the ability to develop systems and process void of waste
  • General knowledge of applications such as MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Service Titan or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic / positive team player with a continual improvement mindset
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and oral
  • Ability to critically think and manage through a highly complex and fast pace environment
